Our family just returned from our 3 day Tag-a-long and we are still in a state of awe from our experience. This excursion was worth every penny we spent! It was hands down in our top 3 family vacations we have ever been on. The crew at Palmetto was fabulous and friendly. They entertained every question asked, helped us scout out the best locations to dig, and made us feel like part of their family from the moment we stepped foot on site. The excitement of personally digging up fossils and shark teeth that are millions of years old is an experience that our family will never forgot. A special thanks to Josh & Skye for welcoming us with open arms! 10/10 would recommend this experience. We will be back!

We had such a wonderful experience at the lightning site today. Luke was the perfect guide—professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable about the site and the fossils found there. He was right there in the pit digging alongside us (2 parents and 2 kids, ages 14 and 12). We found a variety of shark teeth (including a couple megs), as well as fragments of whale and manatee bones. It isn’t easy work, but the thrill of finding a perfectly preserved fossil is well worth it. Luke made the site extra comfortable by taking the time to carve little steps into the pit for me with his excavator, as well as setting up a gigantic sunshade to keep us cool. This was a wonderful experience that our family will always remember, and we would love to do it again the next time we are in the area. Highly recommend Palmetto Fossils and Luke.

We had a fantastic day with guide, Dustin. He is amazingly knowledgeable and very professional. We did find a beautiful Megladon tooth at the lightning site, plus a wide variety of other fossils. Highly recommend!
