I first heard about being able to find megalodon teeth 35 years age when I was on a vacation to the East Coast. It has been somthing I have wanted to do for all these years and I was finally able to do it. I did a ton of research and checked out many companys that do guieded hunts. I ended up picking Palmetto Fossil Excursions and that was a great decision. I went with the tag along hunt and was given my own guied to teach me the ropes and put me on the fossils. Mark Bunce was extremely knowledge and was a wealth of information. I was also able to hunt with one of the owners Joshua Basak. On a scale from one to ten my hunt was deffently a ten. I am going to take my grandsons to hunt the 100 acre site in the spring and will be going back to the Lighting Site again next year in November. It was a fabulous trip with great people. Absolutely phenomenal day! Luke went above and beyond to make the experience memorable - explaining each tooth and fossilized whale and fish bones. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
